Doosan will begin offering a new generator model, the G40, to their portable generator line up starting in the fall of 2017. The G40WDO-3A-T4F, or G40, fits between the G25WDO-3A-T4F and the G50WDO-3A-T4F models with an output of 39 kVA/31 kW. This generator model is equipped with a Doosan D24 diesel engine that is rated at 49 HP and meets all of the EPA’s emissions standards. All portable equipment powered by a Doosan engine meet the EPA’s Tier 4 requirements without using diesel particulate filter after-treatment, thus reducing costs and improving fuel efficiency.
The G40 will share the same high performance alternators that provide the right amount of power need for challenging motor starting applications as the larger G50 model. The generator will also have precision voltage stability that will be beneficial in sensitive applications such as special events.
The control panel will be very operator friendly with easy to read analog gauges for “at a glance monitoring”. The unit will be equipped with a TG410 controller that will provide system protection in case of a fault. The fuel tank will provide 24 hours of runtime and is packaged to be 110% containment to be environmentally responsible.
Doosan’s G40 will come with a 1 year/2000 hours package warranty; a 2 year/4000 hour warranty on the alternator and 1 year/unlimited hour warranty on the Doosan engine.
